June was an exciting month in the world of wine as the Ricasoli barrel tasting event took place for the 2013 Sangiovese. Ricasoli is the oldest winery in Italy, and the second oldest globally, making barrel tasting a special event at this particular location. This cellar was the birthplace of Chianti and it is surrounded by over 1200 hectares of stellar soil

The results of the 2013 Sangiovese tasting lead to a celebratory day at Trust, and we are pleased to be able to participate in such an exciting and impactful event. We look forward to more trials, tastings and of course, more wine.
